Grunber Hauler Operations & Disposal Policy

Welcome to the Grunber Platform

As a Grunber Hauler, you are a vital partner in our mission to provide fast, reliable, and eco-friendly junk removal services across the United States. Our clients and platform trust you to represent the Grunber brand with professionalism and integrity.

This document outlines the non-negotiable standards required for all haulers. Failure to comply with these policies will result in immediate consequences, including permanent removal from the platform.

1. Professional Conduct & Job Verification

Trust is the foundation of our platform. We expect all haulers to be professional, reliable, and honest.

DO:

  • Communicate Professionally: Be courteous and clear with customers and the Grunber support team.

  • Provide Proof of Completion: You must take clear “Before” and “After” photos for every job. The “After” photo must clearly show that all items in the order have been removed. This is a non-negotiable step for payment.

  • Report Issues Immediately: If the job scope is larger than expected, items are hazardous, or you face access issues, contact Grunber Support before proceeding.

DON’T:

  • NEVER misrepresent the status of a job. Claiming a job is complete when it is not is fraud.

  • NEVER abandon a job without authorization from Grunber Support.

  • NEVER attempt to renegotiate pricing directly with the customer. All changes must go through Grunber.

2. Zero-Tolerance Hazardous Waste Policy

Grunber does not accept, transport, or dispose of hazardous waste. This is a strict, non-negotiable policy.

It is your responsibility as a professional hauler to identify and refuse hazardous materials. If you arrive at a site and find items such as wet paint, asbestos, chemicals, solvents, oils, pesticides, biohazards, or any other material you suspect is hazardous:

  1. DO NOT load the items.

  2. Politely inform the customer that these items are not accepted.

  3. Contact Grunber Support immediately.

Loading hazardous materials onto your vehicle is a serious violation of this policy and may be illegal.

3. Legal & Responsible Disposal (Core Policy)

This is the most critical part of our partnership. Our brand promise is built on eco-conscious solutions and responsible disposal. Illegal dumping is a crime, violates our core ESG principles, and will not be tolerated.

3.1. Legal Disposal Requirements

You are responsible for taking all items to a certified and licensed facility. The type of facility must be appropriate for the item being removed (this varies by material):

  • Donation Centers: For usable items (e.g., furniture, appliances).

  • Licensed Recycling Facilities: For processing metal, cardboard, plastic, e-waste, and textiles.

  • Certified C&D (Construction & Debris) Facilities: For construction waste.

  • State-Certified Landfills / Transfer Stations: For non-recyclable, non-hazardous waste.

3.2. Proof of Legal Disposal

You are required to obtain and keep a receipt (dump ticket) from the licensed facility for all disposals.

Grunber reserves the right to audit your jobs and request these disposal receipts at any time. Failure to provide proof of legal disposal upon request is a severe violation of this policy.

3.3. Illegal Disposal (Zero-Tolerance)

Illegal disposal (also known as “fly-dumping”) is strictly prohibited. Committing any of the following actions is grounds for immediate, permanent removal from the platform:

  • NEVER use a private dumpster belonging to another business or residential complex (e.g., a WM, Republic, or other private hauler dumpster). This is theft of service and illegal.

  • NEVER dump items on the side of a road, in a vacant lot, or on any public or private property that is not a licensed facility.

  • NEVER dispose of items in public trash cans.

4. Safety & Facility Compliance

Your safety is paramount. Always follow the rules of the disposal facility, which may include wearing appropriate PPE (hard hats, safety vests, steel-toed boots, etc.). You must also ensure your load is safely secured before transport.

5. Hauler Acknowledgment & Agreement

By accepting jobs on the Grunber platform, you (the Hauler) acknowledge, represent, and warrant that:

  1. You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all policies outlined in this Grunber Hauler Operations & Disposal Policy.

  2. You understand that Grunber operates an eco-friendly platform and that legal, responsible disposal is a non-negotiable condition of your partnership.

  3. You understand that any form of illegal disposal, fraudulent job verification, or transport of hazardous waste is a zero-tolerance offense.

  4. You agree that any single violation of these policies will result in immediate, permanent removal from the Grunber platform, forfeiture of any pending payments, and potential legal action, including filing a police report.
